Executive Pastor Pamela Hutcheson

Executive Pamela Hutcheson is a certified life coach as well as an educator from Miami Florida. Her life experiences guided her to become an owner and operator for McDonald’s for over 20 years, and after owning and operating 6 McDonald’s franchises she retired in 2018 to answer the call on her life. She is also one of the founders of A Place Called Hope Church since 2009 and has devoted her life as one of the overseers. Her passion has always been to help other people, which inspired her to become one of the mentors and Platinum members of World Ventures since 2015.  Executive Pastor Hutcheson has been the anchor to A Place Called Hope Church, and she served as Head Deacon prior to her elevation of Executive Pastor guiding and leading with great wisdom a team of 5 ordained deacons under her wing. 

 Prophet Dr. Schquinta Thompson 
Prophet Schquinta Thompson started Teaching Bible Study at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC in 1995, thereafter she began her journey into Ministering in 2001. She later joined A Place Called Hope Church in 2009, where she now serves as the Prophet of the house. She has dedicated her life to the Lord as well as to serving the community. She began a prayer team at A Place Called Hope Church years ago and that was when God commissioned her to train as the Associate Pastor of A Place Called Hope Church. She started Bountiful Hope which is our Food Ministry in 2017. She also started our Vacation Bible School in 2010. She also just started The Women of Hope Ministry just recently which is a ministry for women who are homeless and are in need of various necessities as well as mentoring.

Youth Pastor Markeita Wilson

YP Markeita Wilson has been an influential leader for the children of The Angels of Hope children's youth choir as well children's Sunday School. She believes , if you train the children within the church congregation the word of God as you do the adults it will be a foundation for them to appreciate who God is and what He does in their lives. She also the Adjutant for our Executive Pastor Pamela Hutcheson.

Pastor Dr. Jovon McPerry

Doctor Jovon McLean is one who just loves God. Born and Reared in Raeford, NC. Affectionately known to most people as Pastor J or Dr. J. He is one that is known to worship and give God praise. Dr. J currently holds an earned Doctoral Degree in Pastoral Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA. Also, a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and a Master's Degree in Divinity are both from Family Bible College of Fayetteville, NC. 

Dr. J has served for 6 years as an Ordained Elder and Pastor of Student Ministries. He is also a Licensed Missionary. Over the past three years, Dr. J has led two International Mission Trips to Petit Goave, Haiti, and one Domestic Mission Trip in Gary, WV.Dr. J is also a funded Grant Writer and Author. 

 

Most important, Dr. J is also a husband to an amazing man, Mr. Dontre McPerry.

Minister Kuwana A. Baker- Marshburn

Minister Marshburn is one of the Founders of A Place Called Hope Church by way of Imani MCC in Durham where she and the Hutcheson's became close friends. Minister Marshburn labored in the trenches with any and everything needed to get things going and functioning such as passing out flyers to capture new members to A Place Called Hope Church. She served as many positions needed for the love of God. She now serves as The Congregational Care and Virtual Membership, Minister and Vacation Bible School Minister.

Adjutant to Bishop

Sandra Lee is the Bishops Adjutant, she was hand picked specifically by the spirit of God to be Bishop Hutcheson's Adjutant. Sandra also taught children's Sunday School prior to becoming an Adjutant, teaching them about the Gospel of the Lord. Sandra is very creative, diligent, reliable and punctual when it comes to the ministry. She leads by example by committing herself in full surrender to God in her prayer life and her home life. Sandra is also a member of Voices of HOPE choir where she also serves as the secretary/treasurer.Sandra has taken the time to know the Bishop and can speak on her behalf on any occasion.

Elder Dawn Nickens- EMERITUS

Elder Dawn is a retired veteran as well as school educator. She loves spending time with her family, her dogs and children. Her favorite sport is basketball and she serves as a basketball coach advisor in her home town, making sure the kids develop the skills they need to succeed.
